Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation in the United States is seeking a Regular Retail Banking Associate to provide industry-leading client service in person and by phone, developing and expanding client relationships while offering financial solutions.

You will also be cross trained to perform required teller duties, meet sales targets, and refer complex needs to internal specialists. Strong communication skills and MS Office proficiency are essential, with SAFE/MLO compliance within 30 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients and building relationships.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, like Microsoft Office.
• SAFE (Mortgage Licensing Act) compliant within 30 days, including NMLS background check.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Willingness to travel for temporary staffing needs and possible weekends/extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced client maintenance and resolve routine issues with sales functions.
• Contribute to meeting/exceeding client service and branch sales targets.
• Refer complex client needs to internal specialists after consultative conversations.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Continuously update sales/product knowledge through training and meetings.
• Advise on consumer lending options and take loan applications.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies.
