Job summary

Webster Bank, a division of Santander Bank, N.A., seeks a Relationship Banker II to serve Banking Center customers with a focus on sales, service, and operations. You will process transactions, learn customer needs, and build trust while promoting the bank's financial products.

You will coach teammates, support branch goals, and maintain compliance with regulations. The role requires flexibility, weekend hours, and occasional travel to other Banking Centers.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; degrees preferred.
• 3-4 years customer service and needs-based banking sales experience preferred.
• 0-2 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and teamwork mindset.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customers' needs in an accurate and timely fashion, leveraging available resources.
• Evaluate client needs and offer appropriate financial products and services, via needs-based conversations.
• Perform routine teller transactions (deposits, withdrawals, check cash, loan payments).
• Support segmentation strategy to drive branch growth and profitability objectives.
• Meet/exceed both individual and team goals in sales, service and operations.
• Maintain compliance with federal/state regulations and bank policies; pass audits.
• Assist with supervision of banking center colleagues, coach fellow bankers, onboard new staff.
