Job summary

Webster Bank, a division of Santander Bank, N.A., is seeking a Relationship Banker II to provide services for Banking Center customers and support the team in achieving sales, service, and operations goals.

The role performs customer transactions, develops needs-based recommendations, and helps coaches fellow bankers while ensuring regulatory compliance and a positive branch culture. Flexibility for weekends and travel to other Banking Centers is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years customer service and needs-based banking sales experience preferred.
• 0+ years supervisory experience preferred.
• Demonstrated success in leading, coaching, and motivating.
• Working knowledge of all bank products and services.
• Keeps current with branch transaction processing systems.
• Able to work a flexible/rotating schedule, including weekends and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Responds to customers' needs accurately and promptly, leveraging available tools.
• Assesses client needs and recommends appropriate financial products and services.
• Performs routine teller transactions and supports branch operations.
• Supports sales, retention, and other bank initiatives to grow the Banking Center.
• Aims to meet/exceed individual and team sales and service goals.
• Ensures compliance with federal/state regulations and internal policies.
• Assists with supervising banking center colleagues and onboarding new staff.
