Qualifications

• 2 years of face-to-face customer service experience
• Ability to learn Trustmark consumer and/or mortgage lending guidelines
• NMLS registration required
• Able to meet sales goals in a retail environment
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn internal technology systems

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and refer through proactive sales/service efforts.
• Service, sell, and cross-sell deposit accounts, loan products, insurance products, cash management services, etc.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience following Trustmark’s service standards.
• Safeguard assets and security while processing transactions accurately (deposits, withdrawals, wires, checks).
• Balance cash drawer daily and ensure documents are completed.
• Achieve quarterly sales and referral goals while delivering excellent service.
• Make outreach calls to customers and prospects.
• Comply with bank policies, procedures, and standards of performance.
• Coach and mentor Relationship Bankers and Tellers.
• Review/approve various transactions (night drop, ATM deposits, …).
• Handle cash shipment and vault management for a branch.
• Originate consumer loans as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
