Job summary

Trustmark Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker to identify customer needs and match them with bank products to boost satisfaction and loyalty. You will drive proactive sales, process cash and non-cash transactions, and deepen customer relationships daily.

Responsibilities include servicing accounts, balancing drawers, meeting sales goals, and making outreach calls while upholding Trustmark’s standards and security requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience (Bachelor’s degree acceptable in lieu of experience).
• Able to handle routine transactions and balance a cash drawer.
• Excellent customer service and product knowledge skills.
• Able to meet sales goals in a retail environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; proficient with internal systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and make referrals through proactive sales/service efforts.
• Service, sell, and cross-sell deposit accounts, loan products, insurance products, etc.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience following Trustmark’s service standards.
• Safeguard assets and process transactions accurately (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loans).
• Balance cash drawer daily; ensure documents are completed.
• Pursue sales goals and referrals quarterly; convert service to sales.
• Make outreach calls to customers and prospects.
• Comply with bank policies and performance standards.
