Job summary

Regions Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker I in Birmingham, AL, to deliver exceptional customer experiences at the cash line and via phone. The role focuses on completing transactions, understanding customer needs, and guiding clients toward Regions’ solutions.

You will educate customers on digital banking, build lasting relationships, and collaborate with teammates to resolve issues while adhering to bank policies and risk controls. This is a full-time role with overtime eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to work Saturdays as needed.
• Ability to handle cash and process cash transactions.
• Ability to communicate in person, on the phone, and through electronic channels.
• Ability to use a computer regularly, including typing and monitoring a screen.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to twenty pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provides a consistent optimal customer experience on the cash line and over the phone.
• Addresses customer inquiries and basic servicing requests (cards, information changes).
• Develops relationships with customers and stays informed about their banking needs.
• Educates customers on digital banking options (mobile, online, ATM).
• Assists team members with basic tasks to resolve issues.
• Directs customers to internal experts for more complex goals.
• Follows bank policies and manages operational risks.
• Helps meet branch targets by guiding customers to Regions solutions.
