Job summary

Banco Santander SA is seeking a Banking Center Relationship Banker I in Cheshire, CT to support Banking Center customers with transactions and to learn needs-based sales, building trust and deepening relationships.

You will perform routine teller transactions, participate in sales initiatives, ensure compliance, and collaborate with teammates to meet branch goals while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years customer service and needs-based banking sales experience preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible and/or rotating schedule.
• May be required to work Saturdays, Sundays and extended hours.
• Travel may be required to alternate Banking Centers.
• Self-starter and highly motivated.
• Working knowledge of all products and services.
• Keeps current with all systems used for branch transaction processing.
• Demonstrates strong customer service skills and the ability to support teamwork, creating a positive working environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide services for Banking Center customers and assist team in achieving sales, service and operations goals.
• Process all customer-related financial transactions in accordance with bank rules and regulations.
• Learn customer financial needs and offer appropriate products through needs-based conversations.
• Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations and bank policies.
• Assist in branch audits and operations evaluation requirements.
