Job summary

The ideal candidate will have 6–12 months of cash handling or retail service experience, strong communication skills, and be bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) preferred.

Qualifications

• College degree in business, accounting or finance preferred or related work experience.
• 6-12 months of cash handling, customer service in a retail environment, or sales experience preferred.
• Desire to learn the banking industry, help others, and work in a professional environment.
• PC literate with data entry, 10-key, banking software, and MS Office familiarity.
• Detail-oriented with strong note-taking and follow-up abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform deposits and withdrawal transactions.
• Balance teller cash drawer and reconcile.
• Process outgoing wires.
• Open accounts and refer customers to other areas as appropriate.
• Provide high quality customer service and resolve issues.
• Detect and report suspicious activity and follow BSA procedures.
