Cathay Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker II (Administrative) to open new accounts, cross-sell products, and resolve customer inquiries. The role includes processing teller transactions and supporting branch operations while ensuring regulatory compliance and secure handling of customer information.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of cash handling or sales experience, are comfortable with data entry and banking software, and can work weekends as required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of cash handling, customer service in a retail environment, or sales experience required.
• Banking experience is a plus.
• Minimum 1 year new accounts, sales experience, or relevant banking experience preferred.
• Motivated to consistently provide our customers with excellent service and help them achieve their financial goals.
• PC literate and typing proficient; familiar with data entry, 10-key and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Open new accounts for bank products/services and provide financial solutions.
• Cross-sell bank products and refer customers to other banking areas as appropriate.
• Process teller transactions and support branch operations with accuracy.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Follow bank regulations and security procedures to protect customers and minimize risk.
• Support new business promotions and assist in problem resolution.
