You’ll handle deposits, withdrawals, balance cash, open basic accounts, and refer customers to bank specialists. Bilingual English/Chinese is preferred; previous retail banking experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• College degree in business, accounting or finance preferred or related work experience.
• 6-12 months of cash handling, customer service in a retail environment, or sales experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) preferred.
• PC literate and typing proficient; experience with data entry and banking software a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform deposits and withdrawal transactions.
• Reconcile and balance teller cash drawer.
• Process outgoing wires.
• Safe Deposit box duties including entry and maintenance.
• Assist customers with problem resolution and inquiries.
• Identify sales opportunities to cross-sell bank products and services.
• Provide quality personalized customer service and referrals to bank partners.
