Job summary

Citizens Bank is seeking a Branch Banker in Pittsburgh to help customers with everyday financial needs and long‑term goals. You’ll listen, ask questions and offer trusted advice to build lasting relationships.

You’ll guide customers through spending, saving, borrowing and investing, promote digital banking, and collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking for more complex needs. Starting pay is $25 per hour and up.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• 2 years of sales and customer service experience, demonstrating an ability to meet or exceed goals.
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to improve the customer relationship.
• Proven success with building relationships, and recommending and referring products and services through in-person and phone interactions.
• Demonstrated skills in using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals.
• Aptitude to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues.
• Recognized ability to strengthen relationships with teammates, business partners and specialists through collaboration.
• Self‑motivated, confident and ability to multitask effectively.
• Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Meet and comply with all requirements set forth in the SAFE Act, including successful completion of the pre‑employment screening checks and obtaining a unique identifier from the NMLS.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers through strong communication and sound financial advice.
• Provide recommendations and assist customers with financial solutions across spending, saving, borrowing, and investing.
• Know customers' financial goals and tailor solutions to help reach them.
• Introduce customers to digital and mobile banking through apps and ATMs.
• Collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking for complex needs.
• Make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkups.
• Adhere to all financial policies and cash handling standards.
