Job summary

Citizens Bank is seeking a friendly, outgoing individual to join our team as a branch advisor. You’ll help customers with financial solutions across spending, saving, borrowing and investing, building lasting relationships through trusted advice and proactive service.

You’ll use strong communication and problem-solving skills to tailor recommendations, introduce digital banking tools, and collaborate with Wealth Management and Mortgage teams.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• 2 years of sales and customer service experience, meeting or exceeding goals.
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to improve the customer relationship.
• Proven success with building relationships, and recommending and referring products and services through in-person and phone interactions.
• Demonstrated skills in using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals.
• Aptitude to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues.
• Recognized ability to strengthen relationships with teammates, business partners and specialists through collaboration.
• Self-motivated, confident and ability to multitask effectively.
• Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings.
• Meet and comply with all requirements set forth in the SAFE Act, including, but not limited to successful completion of the pre‑employment screening checks and obtaining a unique identifier from the NMLS.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with financial solutions including spending, saving, borrowing and investing.
• Provide recommendations and tailor services to personal financial goals.
• Promote digital and mobile-first banking tools (app and ATMs).
• Collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking partners for complex needs.
• Make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkups.
