Job summary

Truist Wealth in Vineland, NJ is seeking a customer-focused teller with strong sales and service skills to join our team. You will handle routine transactions, advise on deposit and lending options, and work to develop relationships with clients in a fast-paced branch environment.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and 2 years of client sales/service experience, with access to additional incentive pay. You must be able to travel to support temporary staffing and work weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• SAFE (Mortgage Licensing Act) compliance within 30 days of employment and related regulatory checks.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with possible travel and overnights.

Responsibilities

• Exercises advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests, problem resolution and sales functions.
• Contributes to meeting or exceeding client service and sales targets by offering products and services.
• Supports team sales by consultative conversations and referrals to specialists.
• Participates in the Retail Community Bank routines and leadership activities.
• Advances knowledge of sales techniques and product knowledge through training.
• Advises on consumer lending options and takes loan applications.
• Ensures compliance with internal controls and policies.
• Maintains a consistent client service experience during teller transactions and client interactions.
