Truist in Sarasota, FL is seeking a customer-focused professional for the Regular position within Retail Community Bank. You will provide an industry leading client service experience in person and on the phone while developing new and existing client relationships, and cross-train to perform teller duties as needed.

The role emphasizes consultative conversations, loan applications, and meeting sales targets through offering deposit, credit and retirement products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Must be SAFE (Mortgage Licensing Act) compliant within 30 days of employment... including NMLS background check.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required.

Responsibilities

• Exhibits advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests and sales functions.
• Contributes to meeting client service and sales targets by expanding relationships.
• Supports team sales by referral of complex needs to internal specialists.
• Participates in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Continual sales and product knowledge development through training.
• Advises on consumer lending options and takes loan applications.
• Adheres to internal controls and risk management policies.
• Engages clients and conducts transactions with a courteous, service-focused approach.
