Job summary

Truist is seeking a customer-focused professional to provide an industry-leading service experience in person and by phone. You will develop and expand client relationships and offer financial solutions, with cross-training to perform teller duties as needed.

Responsibilities include handling deposits, loans, and referrals while meeting service and sales targets, following risk controls, and consistently delivering a high level of service to clients and prospects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Must be SAFE compliant with NMLS background checks and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Willingness to travel for temporary staffing needs and occasional extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Exercises advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests and sales functions.
• Contributes to meeting or exceeding client service and branch sales targets.
• Supports team sales by conducting consultative conversations and referrals to specialists.
• Advises on consumer lending options and takes loan applications.
• Adheres to internal controls, procedures and risk management policies.
• Engages clients with courteous service during transactions and uncovers needs.
