Job summary

Truist is seeking a customer-focused professional to deliver an industry-leading client service experience in person and on the phone. You will develop and expand client relationships and provide financial solutions based on consultative conversations and referrals to partners.

You will also be cross-trained to perform teller duties as needed. The role emphasizes meeting branch targets, compliance with policies, and ongoing training to enhance sales and service capabilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Must be SAFE (Mortgage Licensing Act) compliant within 30 days of employment in this role, including new or transfer of registration and applicable NMLS background check which includes meeting applicable financial responsibility, character, credit fitness and criminal background standards. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included.

Responsibilities

• Exercising advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests, problem resolution and advanced sales functions.
• Contributing to meeting or exceeding client service and sales targets by offering products and services and developing client relationships.
• Supporting team sales process by conducting consultative conversations and referring more complex needs to internal specialists.
• Participating in the Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advancing sales knowledge and product knowledge through meetings and training.
• Advising on consumer lending options and taking loan applications.
• Adhering to internal controls and risk management policies and staying updated on policy changes.
• Engaging clients with courteous service during transactions and helping them navigate the branch.
