Truist in Churchville, PA is seeking a Regular full-time Retail Banker to build and expand client relationships through consultative conversations, in-branch service, and phone support.

You will develop financial solutions, refer complex needs to specialists, and may assist with teller duties. The role emphasizes meeting sales targets, strong customer service, and adherence to risk and policy standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Must be SAFE compliant within 30 days of employment and pass NMLS background checks.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs and possible weekends/extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Exercises advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests, problem resolution and advanced sales functions regarding deposit, credit, convenience and other product and service lines.
• Contributes to meeting or exceeding client service and branch sales targets by developing, expanding and retaining relationships.
• Supports team sales process by conducting consultative conversations and referring complex needs to internal specialists.
• Participates in the Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advances knowledge of sales techniques and product knowledge via training and meetings.
• Advises on consumer lending options and takes loan applications.
• Adheres to internal controls and risk management policies; stays informed of changes in policies.
• Engages clients with courteous conversation during transactions and helps them navigate the branch.
