Job summary

Citizens Bank is seeking a friendly, outgoing Banker to connect with customers and provide trusted financial guidance in a branch setting.

You will listen to customers, understand goals, and offer tailored solutions for saving, borrowing and investing, while promoting digital banking and coordinating with specialists for complex needs. This role includes outbound outreach and weekend/evening hours as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of sales and customer service experience, demonstrating an ability to meet or exceed goals.
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to improve the customer relationship.
• Proven success with building relationships, and recommending and referring products and services through in-person and phone interactions.
• Demonstrated skills in using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals.
• Aptitude to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues.
• Self-motivated, confident and ability to multitask effectively.
• Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Meet and comply with SAFE Act requirements including pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers to provide trusted financial advice.
• Provide recommendations and assist customers with financial solutions across spending, saving, borrowing and investing.
• Introduce customers to digital and mobile banking via app and ATMs.
• Collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage, and Business Banking for complex needs.
• Make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkups.
