Job summary

Citizens Bank in Brighton, MI seeks a Branch Banker to build lasting customer relationships through trusted financial guidance. You’ll help clients with spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs while promoting digital banking tools.

Responsibilities include outbound outreach, cross-functional collaboration with Wealth Management and Mortgage teams, and delivering tailored financial solutions. Requires strong communication, problem solving, and flexibility to work weekends/evenings.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• 2 years of sales and customer service experience, demonstrating an ability to meet or exceed goals.
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to improve the customer relationship.
• Proven success with building relationships, and recommending and referring products and services through in-person and phone interactions.
• Demonstrated skills in using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals.
• Aptitude to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues.
• Recognized ability to strengthen relationships with teammates, business partners and specialists through collaboration.
• Self-motivated, confident and ability to multitask effectively.
• Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings.
• Meet and comply with all requirements set forth in the SAFE Act, including, but not limited to successful completion of the pre-employment screening checks and obtaining a unique identifier from the NMLS.
• Qualified candidates must complete a video interview assessment after applying as the next step, to be completed within 7 days of receiving the link.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial guidance and trusted advice to customers across spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs.
• Recommend tailored solutions aligned with customers' personal financial goals, such as planning for the future or buying a home.
• Introduce customers to digital and mobile-first banking channels and assist with transactions.
• Collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking partners for more complex needs.
• Make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkups.
