Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Relationship Banker in the United States to deliver exceptional client service, build lasting relationships, and understand customers' financial needs. You will educate clients on digital tools and bank solutions while collaborating with specialists to address complex needs.

The role requires licensing milestones, adherence to policies, and availability for branch hours including weekends and some evenings.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or other related industries with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results.
• Ability to create memorable experiences for our clients – elevate the client experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both in person and on the phone, with proven ability to tailor features and benefits of products and services to clients with differing needs.
• Ability to quickly and effectively resolve client issues with attention to detail – providing consistent client experience.
• Operate within established risk parameters/tolerances and meet internal/external risk and compliance obligations, including completion of required training.
• High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.
• The Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements. All unlicensed applicants must obtain their licenses through JPMC’s licensing program within 180 days of hire, study materials and support provided.
• Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings.

Responsibilities

• Put clients first and exceed their expectations - deliver attentive and friendly service, creating a welcoming environment.
• Manage assigned clients and proactively meet with them, both in person and over the phone, to build lasting relationships, understand financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations.
• Engage in clear, polite, consultative communication to understand and help clients, building trust – ask questions and listen to understand, anticipate their needs.
• Educate and connect clients to technology solutions such as leveraging the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs to help them with their banking needs whenever, wherever, and however they want.
• Learn products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately to effectively consult with clients about banking solutions, as well as collaborate with and connect them to our team of experts to help with specialized financial needs.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
