Job summary

First Merchants Bank is seeking a Customer Relationship Representative to join our team in Indiana. You will execute on individual and team sales and service metrics to help the banking center achieve strategic goals, while delivering high-quality customer service and processing deposits, loans, and account openings.

You will engage clients to identify financial needs, recommend products, and educate them on digital tools.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; bank/sales experience preferred.
S.A.F.E Act registration required at hire through NMLS; must meet requirements within 3 months of hire.
Notary Public designation ability is required.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
In-depth knowledge of bank products and services across lines of business.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality customer service and accurately process bank transactions.
Open new consumer and business accounts and process loan applications.
Proactively engage clients to assess financial needs and recommend products and digital tools.
Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Collaborate with team and leadership to achieve sales and service goals.
Ensure risk management and regulatory compliance across duties.
