Truist Financial Corporation in the United States is seeking a Regular 1st shift bank associate to provide a distinctive client experience through courteous conversations and complex and standard transactions. You will educate clients on digital self-service options and support the sales process while identifying client needs and opportunities.

You will participate in IRM, attend training, and maintain compliance with policies while assisting with new account openings and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software skills for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel/overnights.

• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs and online banking.
• Support team sales by outreach, checking offers, and identifying client needs.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist solutions.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advance product knowledge through training and meetings.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution.
