Job summary

Truist is seeking a Regular Banking Associate to provide timely client service and accurate transaction processing in a retail branch environment. You will educate clients on digital banking, assist with account openings, and contribute to the sales process through outreach and referrals.

A strong emphasis on accuracy, compliance, and customer care is essential. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 2 years of teller or client service experience, and the ability to multi-task

Qualifications

• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation.
• Ability to multitask under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Willingness to travel for temporary staffing needs and potential locale changes.
• Weekend and/or extended hours availability with possible travel/overnights.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience and perform both complex and standardized transactions.
• Educate clients on digital self-service solutions (ATMs, Online/Mobile banking).
• Support sales by outreach, offers checks, and referrals to branch team members.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Attend training and product knowledge sessions to advance knowledge.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution.
