Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Relationship Banker to provide hospitable, client‑focused service at a Chase branch, acquiring and managing client relationships with financial knowledge and technology to meet needs.

You will engage with clients in person and by phone, educate them on Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs, and adhere to banking policies and risk controls. Weekend/evening hours required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or related industries.
• Ability to create memorable experiences for clients.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to tailor features and benefits.
• Ability to resolve client issues with attention to detail.
• Operate within risk parameters/tolerances and meet training requirements.
• High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.
• The Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements; licenses must be obtained through JPMorganChase's program within 180 days.
• Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings.

Responsibilities

• Put clients first and exceed expectations - deliver attentive and friendly service, creating a welcoming environment.
• Manage assigned clients and proactively meet with them, both in person and over the phone, to build lasting relationships, understand financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations.
• Engage in clear, polite, consultative communication to understand and help clients, building trust - ask questions and listen to understand, anticipate their needs.
• Educate and connect clients to technology solutions such as Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs to help them with their banking needs whenever, wherever, and however they want.
• Learn products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately to effectively consult with clients about banking solutions, as well as collaborate with and connect them to our team of experts to help with specialized financial needs.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
