Job summary

JPMorganChase & Co. is seeking a Relationship Banker in Illinois to deliver exceptional client service and deepen client relationships. You will guide clients through banking solutions, use Chase mobile tech, and consult with specialists for complex needs.

The role requires proven sales ability, strong communication, and adherence to regulatory standards, with branch hours including weekends. Training and licensing support are provided.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking or related industries with proven success.
• Ability to create memorable client experiences and tailor product recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills, in person and on the phone.
• Ability to resolve client issues with attention to detail and compliance.
• Meet risk and regulatory obligations, including required training.
• Licensing requirements include SIE, FINRA Series 6, state registration and Life licenses; all unlicensed applicants must obtain licenses within 180 days.

Responsibilities

• Put clients first and exceed their expectations - deliver attentive and friendly service, creating a welcoming environment.
• Manage assigned clients and proactively meet with them, both in person and over the phone, to build lasting relationships, understand financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations.
• Engage in clear, polite, consultative communication to understand and help clients, building trust - ask questions and listen to understand, anticipate their needs.
• Educate and connect clients to technology solutions such as leveraging the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs to help them with their banking needs whenever, wherever, and however they want.
• Learn products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately to effectively consult with clients about banking solutions, as well as collaborate with and connect them to our team of experts to help with specialized financial needs.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
