Job summary

Truist in Conway, SC is seeking a client service oriented associate on the 1st shift to grow customer relationships and provide financial solutions. You will handle teller duties as needed and refer complex needs to specialists, while meeting branch targets and maintaining compliance.

The role requires strong communication, a high school diploma, and 2 years of sales/service experience; travel and weekends may be required. Training provided to expand product knowledge and sales skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
• Must be SAFE compliant within 30 days in this role, including NMLS background checks.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel for temporary staffing needs.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights.

Responsibilities

• Exercises advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests, problem resolution and advanced sales functions regarding deposit, credit, convenience and other product and service lines.
• Contributes to meeting or exceeding client service as well as individual and branch sales targets by offering products and services with a focus on developing, expanding and retaining relationships.
• Supports team sales process by conducting consultative conversations and referring more complex client needs to internal specialists.
• Participates fully in all components of the established Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines
• Advances knowledge of sales techniques and product knowledge through meetings and training classes and web-based learning.
• Advises on consumer lending options and takes loan applications.
• Stays informed of policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Engages clients with courteous conversation while conducting transactions and helping them navigate within the branch.
