Job summary

Truist in the United States seeks a Client Sales and Service Associate to provide industry leading service in person and by phone, building and expanding client relationships while delivering financial solutions.

You will be cross-trained to perform teller duties as needed, support branch sales targets, and refer complex needs to specialists. Strong communication and multi-tasking are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of client sales and service experience
• Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency with basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office
• SAFE (Mortgage Licensing Act) compliance within 30 days including NMLS background check
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs and potential locale changes
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights

Responsibilities

• Exercises advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests, problem resolution and advanced sales functions regarding deposit, credit, convenience and other product and service lines.
• Contributes to meeting or exceeding client service and branch sales targets by offering products and services to develop, expand and retain relationships.
• Supports team sales process by conducting consultative conversations and referring complex client needs to internal specialists.
• Participates fully in all components of the established Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.
• Advances personal knowledge of sales techniques and product knowledge via trainings and meetings.
• Advises on consumer lending options and takes loan applications.
• Adheres to internal controls and risk management policies; stays informed of changes to ensure compliance.
• Ensures a consistent client service experience by greeting clients, conducting transactions, and identifying needs, including teller duties when needed.
