Job summary

Truist is hiring in the United States for a role focused on delivering industry-leading client service in person and over the phone while expanding client relationships. You will be cross-trained to perform teller duties as needed, and to refer complex needs to internal specialists for growth opportunities.

The position requires a high school diploma, 2 years of client sales/service experience, and sales-oriented interaction with clients. Weekend and extended hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Must be SAFE compliant within 30 days of employment (NMLS background check).
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs and locale changes.
• Willingness to work weekends and/or extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Exercises advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests and advanced sales functions.
• Contributes to meeting or exceeding client service and branch sales targets by cross-selling products and services.
• Supports sales process by conducting consultative conversations and referring more complex needs to internal specialists.
• Participates in the Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Attends sales, service and product knowledge meetings and trainings.
• Advises on consumer lending options and takes loan applications.
• Adheres to internal controls and risk management policies to ensure compliance.
• Greet clients, conduct transactions, and gently uncover client needs.
