Job summary

Truist in the United States seeks a Universal Banker to provide timely, accurate handling of client transactions and deliver superior service while identifying client financial needs.

You will educate clients on digital banking, support sales through outbound calls, and help with Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities. Weekend/extended hours and occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficient in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office).
• Able to travel for temporary staffing needs and accommodate weekends/extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience with a high service level while handling transactions.
• Educate clients on digital self-service solutions (ATMs, Online/Mobile banking).
• Support sales through outbound calls and client referrals to branch teams.
• Understand and apply Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) principles.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines and training.
• Adhere to internal controls and updated policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and issue resolution.
