Job summary

Truist is seeking a Universal Banker in the United States to deliver superior client service, process transactions, and educate clients on digital banking. The role includes outbound calling and supporting Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities.

The position emphasizes cross-selling, visiting clients, and contributing to branch goals. Regular shifts and a path for growth within Truist Retail Banking are highlighted.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years in teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs, including locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with possible travel/overnights.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience with a consistent service level, assist with complex transactions.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions (ATMs, Online/Mobile banking).
• Support sales by outbound client outreach and identifying needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist solutions.
• Participate in Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advance product knowledge through training and meetings.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and problem resolution, handling volume based on branch needs.
