Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is seeking a teller/service associate to provide timely client service, process transactions, and educate customers on digital banking options. You will support outbound outreach and collaborate with branch teams to meet client needs.

Role involves learning Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) and participating in leadership routines while maintaining strong internal controls and flexibility for weekend/hours as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master personal computer (PC) keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience to ensure a consistent service level by engaging clients with smiling, courteous conversation, and handling complex transactions.
• Educate clients on digital self-service solutions including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking.
• Support team sales process by outbound calls, checking client offers, and identifying needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise and solutions.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advance knowledge through training and product knowledge meetings.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies for compliance.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution.
