Truist Financial Corporation in the United States seeks a Regular Universal Banker to provide timely client transaction processing and accurate record-keeping. You will guide customers through digital self-service options and support outreach to identify client needs, while upholding strict control standards.

The role requires a high school diploma, cash handling or sales experience, and the ability to work a 1st shift schedule with occasional travel and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required, including temporary assignments or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience to ensure a consistent service level by engaging clients with smiling, courteous conversation, and handling both complex and standardized transactions.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking.
• Support team sales process by outbound client outreach, checking for offers, and identifying needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise and solutions.
• Participate in the Retail Community Bank Leadership routines and training sessions.
• Advance product knowledge to better serve consumer and business clients.
• Adhere to internal controls, procedures and risk management policies and stay informed of policy changes.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, handling workload based on branch demands.
