Job summary

Truist is seeking a customer-focused team member in Farmville, NC to deliver exceptional client service. You will handle transactions, educate clients on digital banking, and support sales efforts through outbound calls and needs-based referrals.

Responsibilities include assisting with new accounts, adhering to controls and policies, and participating in ongoing training to expand product knowledge. Weekend hours and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education required
• Two years teller or cash handling or client service experience required
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office)
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs and locations
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included

Responsibilities

• Provide distinctive client experience by engaging clients and conducting both complex and standard transactions
• Educate clients on digital self-service solutions (ATMs, Online/Mobile banking)
• Support sales by outbound client outreach and identifying client needs or opportunities
• Understand and apply Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise
• Participate in Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines
• Advance product knowledge through trainings and meetings
• Adhere to internal controls, procedures and risk management policies
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and problem resolution, handling workload by branch demands
