Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Office of the State Treasurer and Receiver General, is seeking a Reinstatement Analyst. The role provides intake and processing of service purchase transactions, assisting with department projects and ensuring accurate application of retirement plan rules.

The position supports counseling of members, collaborates with retirement boards, and uses OnBase, MARIS and MSRBeyond to process transactions.

Qualifications

• Degree or higher or comparable work experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to explain retirement purchases and regulations.

Responsabilités

• Provide prompt counseling to answer member inquiries.
• Process service purchase transactions and verify eligibility criteria.
• Research creditable service for various scenarios (out-of-state, military, etc.).
• Calculate creditable service and relate to retirement benefits.
• Coordinate with retirement boards on salaries and refunds.
• Utilize OnBase ECM, MARIS, and MSRBeyond for processing.
• Handle high-volume caseload effectively.
• Assist in special projects as needed.
