Louisiana Orthopaedic Specialists LLC seeks a Front Office Coordinator for our Rehabilitation department. You will schedule patient appointments, communicate visit costs and insurance benefits, and collect payments.

You will coordinate with rehabilitation staff, maintain accurate patient records in the EMR, and ensure confidentiality. Some travel between local clinics may be required to ensure coverage.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• One year of experience in out-patient rehabilitation preferred.
• Knowledge of EMR software and phone systems.
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients and staff.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule patient appointments and confirm future visits.
• Explain visit costs and insurance benefits to patients.
• Collect patient payments and reconcile end-of-day totals.
• Coordinate with rehabilitation staff and therapists for referrals and scheduling.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per policies and regulations.
• Float between clinic locations to cover front office needs.
