Mercy Medical Center is seeking a Client Services Coordinator to join our Rehabilitation team in Springfield. This role handles reception, medical office tasks, registrations and insurance workflows to keep operations smooth.

The position requires a High School Diploma with preferred medical office or billing experience, proficient Windows skills, and strong written and verbal communication. Full-time, day shift with benefits on first day.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a medical office or billing department preferred.
• Knowledge of patient billing and medical terminology preferred.
• Proficiency in a Windows-based computer environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain client records, client registration, and statistical data.
• Manage phone system, intake, scheduling, referrals, and insurance authorizations.
• Support therapy department and manage patients from intake to discharge.
• Assist internal and external customers with clerical tasks.
• Provide clerical support to rehab department staff.
