Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking clerical support for Outpatient Rehabilitation across multiple locations in Ohio. You will register patients, schedule referrals and appointments by diagnosis, perform POS collections, and handle office duties while ensuring accurate insurance information and smooth patient flow.

The role emphasizes AIDET-based customer service, EMR navigation, and knowledge of rehabilitation service lines to support clinicians and patients daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred.
• Experience in clerical or registration roles.
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to handle multiple phone lines and front-desk duties.

Responsibilities

• Register new patients with accurate demographic and insurance information.
• Schedule referrals and appointments across PT/OT/ST for multiple locations.
• Process Point of Service collections for balances due.
• Perform general office duties: phones, faxing, filing.
