Job summary

Mercedes Benz Vans LLC is seeking a Regulatory Specialist - Team Relations Representative to support a legally compliant employee relations environment. You will manage moderate to highly complex cases, conduct investigations, and advise managers on policy interpretation and regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes autonomy, confidentiality, and collaboration with People & Tech stakeholders to mitigate risk and improve processes across the employee lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive People & Tech experience in employee relations, HR operations, compliance or related HR discipline.
• Knowledge of labor and employment law compliance and high-risk investigations.
• Ability to interpret policies and manage complex workplace concerns with compliant solutions.
• Strong documentation, organization, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage employee relations matters including complex cases and policy interpretation.
• Conduct and support workplace investigations with objective fact-finding and risk mitigation.
• Advise managers and employees on People & Tech policies, employment practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Assess employee relations concerns and collaborate with leadership to resolve issues and support business objectives.
• Analyze trends and case data to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Lead policy enhancements and cross-functional initiatives to improve compliance and outcomes.
• Support performance management, audits, and regulatory reviews while maintaining confidentiality.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with legal and internal controls.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure consistent application of programs and fair workplace practices.
