Mercedes-Benz Vans, LLC is seeking a Regulatory Specialist - Team Relations Representative in Charleston, SC to manage complex employee relations matters and investigations. You will interpret policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain meticulous documentation throughout the employee lifecycle.

You will partner with managers, People & Tech teams, and leaders to support consistent employment practices and risk mitigation while upholding confidentiality and high professional standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of progressive People & Tech experience in employee relations, HR operations, compliance, policy administration, or a related Human Resources discipline.
• Labor and employment law compliance support
• High-risk investigations, managerial investigations, or complex workplace issue resolution
• Strong knowledge of People & Tech principles and best practices across employee relations, policy administration, compliance, and employee lifecycle support.
• Working knowledge of applicable federal and state labor laws, employment regulations, company policies, workplace conduct standards, and internal control requirements.
• Ability to interpret policies, assess moderate to highly complex workplace concerns, and support compliant, consistent, and risk-mitigating solutions.
• Ability to operate with significant autonomy while maintaining appropriate escalation, collaboration, and alignment with People & Tech leadership.
• Strong documentation, organization, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to summarize information clearly and accurately.
• Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, confidentiality, patience, and sound judgment when handling sensitive employee matters.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with managers, employees, and People & Tech stakeholders in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency with People & Tech systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage employee relations matters, including attendance, conduct, performance, policy interpretation, and workplace concerns.
• Conduct and support workplace investigations, including high-risk and managerial investigations.
• Provide consultative guidance on People & Tech policies, employment practices, and labor requirements.
• Independently assess employee relations concerns and partner with leadership to resolve issues.
• Analyze trends and risks to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead policy enhancements, process improvements, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Support performance management, audits, and internal controls while ensuring compliance.
• Maintain accurate documentation and confidential case files.
• Collaborate with managers and stakeholders to ensure consistent program implementation.
• Perform duties in compliance with safety requirements.
