Ideal candidates will collaborate with legal and engineering to monitor standards changes and drive improvements, translating complex requirements into actionable guidance for stakeholders. Hybrid work with potential travel within the US is possible.

Qualifications

7+ years in tech with emphasis on software compliance topics.
Undergraduate degree in CS or Software Engineering; Master’s preferred.
Ability to manage multiple cross-functional projects with legal, engineering, procurement and IT teams.
Strong ability to translate regulatory concepts for attorneys and software engineers.

Responsibilities

Serve as technical liaison between Legal and Engineering for regulatory alignment.
Identify and resolve compliance topics in product and design.
Research applicable regulatory and industry standards; translate into scalable processes.
Develop compliant processes and identify classifications with engineering teams.
Support trainings on relevant regulations and communicate risks to leadership.
Act as bridge among Legal, Engineering, Procurement, HR, IT and other stakeholders.
