Qualifications

• 6–8 years of progressive experience in software, systems, or product engineering in regulated environments.
• Hands-on with modern software development practices and product lifecycle management.
• Working knowledge of SDLC, agile/hybrid delivery, and engineering quality controls.
• Able to translate R&D requirements into technical solutions with measurable value.
• Experience managing budgets, timelines, and priorities in a matrixed organization.
• Proven people-management experience and leadership.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence across functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of product group engineers delivering technology solutions.
• Own end-to-end engineering lifecycle from requirements to deployment.
• Collaborate with Product Management, R&D, Quality, Regulatory, IT to translate needs into scalable solutions.
• Ensure regulatory, quality, cybersecurity, and data privacy compliance.
• Drive engineering excellence through standardized processes, design reviews, and documentation.
• Manage delivery commitments, budgets, and vendor relationships.
• Provide coaching, performance management, and foster innovation.
• Communicate progress and risks to leadership; escalate issues as needed.
