Job summary

North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC, seeks an Associate Registrar to support the Office of the Registrar by coordinating academic records, course registration, enrollment, and graduation processes. Under the Registrar, you will ensure accurate records and policy compliance.

You will supervise staff, collaborate with academic and administrative departments, and contribute to process improvements and system enhancements, including Banner and DegreeWorks, in a fast-paced university

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum five years in a University Registrar’s Office or similar.
• Experience with Ellucian Banner and DegreeWorks, including degree audits.
• Proven ability to write and run ad hoc/standard reports in ARGOS/WEBFOCUS.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee academic records, course registration, enrollment, and graduation processes.
• Ensure compliance with FERPA and university policies in records handling.
• Coordinate with departments and staff; guide registrar system enhancements.
