Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown in Nashville, TN is seeking a Registered Nurse to support non-invasive cardiac imaging, including CCTAs, nuclear stress tests, stress echoes, tilt tables, and stress MRIs. You will implement patient care plans, monitor changes, and ensure orders are executed with cardiovascular protocols.

This role offers a day shift with PRN coverage and requires Tennessee RN licensure and BLS. A nursing diploma from an accredited program is required.

Qualifications

• RN license issued by Tennessee Board of Nursing or current compact-state license recognized across states.
• BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage and assist in high-level non-invasive cardiac imaging, including CCTA, nuclear stress tests, stress echoes, tilt tables, and stress MRIs.
• Implement and adapt patient care plans in real-time; monitor, record, and communicate critical changes to the care team.
• Accurately execute all physician and nursing orders, maintaining strict adherence to cardiovascular protocols and safety standards.
• Be the expert voice for your patients, ensuring their condition is monitored and their care is precisely executed.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
