Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas West in Nashville seeks a RN to join the Structural Heart Team. You will support a specialized Cath Lab team performing TAVRs, MitraClips and Watchman procedures, assess and position patients, monitor hemodynamics, and document care plans.

The role is day shift, full-time, with a sign-on bonus available. Eligible candidates hold an RN license (TN or compact), ACLS/BLS, and a nursing diploma.

Qualifications

• Cath Lab experience required.
• Active RN license (TN) or compact multi-state license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Support Subselect team that handles TAVRs, MitraClips, Watchmans, etc.
• Assess, prepare and position patients for procedures and monitor hemodynamics as needed.
• Communicate patient status with physicians before, during, and after procedures; document care plans.

How you'll make an impact in this role

• 6:30am-5:00pm 4 days a week

What Minimum Requirements You'll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
