Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown in Nashville, TN, is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care for stroke and medical-surgical patients in a day shift/PRN role within the Neurology specialty. You will monitor patients, respond to real-time clinical changes, and guide patients and families through discharge planning to support independence and safety.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Tennessee.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• 6+ months of acute care nursing experience preferred.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Additional Preferences

• 6+ months of acute care nursing experience
