Job summary

Ascension in Nashville, TN seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to implement and monitor patient care plans within the Diagnostic Cardiology department. You will coordinate diverse disciplines to ensure well-coordinated care, and carry out physician and nursing orders while supporting discharge planning.

Minimum requirements include Tennessee RN licensure (Compact states accepted), BLS within 30 days of hire, and a nursing Diploma or equivalent licensure. ACLS and IV skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• RN required with Tennessee license or multi-state 'Compact State' license recognition.
• BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire date (30 days).
• ACLS, IV skills and strong cardiac background preferred.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Additional Preferences

• ACLS, IV skills and strong cardiac background preferred.
