Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown in Nashville, TN seeks an experienced RN for the Cardiac Cath Lab. You will lead specialized nursing care during complex cardiac interventions, monitor patients with advanced hemodynamics, and collaborate with physicians for safe, effective procedures.

You will educate patients and families and perform thorough assessments to deliver personalized care, improving outcomes and quality of life for cardiac patients.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with TN Board of Nursing licensure (or compact state recognition).
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Lead specialized nursing care for complex cardiac interventions with high safety standards.
• Perform advanced hemodynamic monitoring and sedation during diagnostic/therapeutic moments.
• Collaborate with physicians as a clinical consultant to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and families to support recovery and confidence post-procedure.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to tailor interventions and improve quality of life.

• Lead specialized nursing care for complex cardiac interventions, ensuring the highest standards of safety and clinical excellence.
• Manage advanced hemodynamic monitoring and sedation with precision to maintain patient stability during high-acuity diagnostic and therapeutic moments.
• Partner with physicians as a vital clinical consultant, providing real-time assessments to ensure seamless procedural outcomes and patient safety.
• Empower patients and families through compassionate, tailored education to ensure a confident transition and successful recovery journey.
• Execute comprehensive physical and psychological assessments to deliver personalized interventions that directly improve patient results and quality of life.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing OR current home state license for multi‑state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
