Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Cardiology RN for Williamson Medical Physicians Building in Franklin, TN. This full-time, days schedule role supports inpatient cardiology care and discharge planning within a leading nonprofit health system.

You will lead patient care plans, monitor conditions, and communicate updates to the team to ensure timely, coordinated care and safe transitions home.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire.
• RN credential from Tennessee Board of Nursing or current multi-state Compact license.
• Diploma or equivalent nursing licensure at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Advocate & Strategist: implement, monitor, and evolve patient care plans.
• Vigilant Communicator: monitor conditions and relay vital updates to the team in real time.
• Precision Execution: interpret and carry out physician and nursing orders with clinical accuracy.

• Precision Execution: With a keen eye for detail, you’ll interpret and carry out physician and nursing orders, ensuring clinical accuracy at every turn.
• Bridge to Home: You’ll lead the discharge planning process from day one, collaborating across the care team to ensure your patients have everything they need for a safe and confident transition home.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
