Qualifications

• Graduate from an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
• Current Tennessee CRT or RRT licensure and NBRC accreditation.
• Maintain ACLS and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of pulmonary care per licensure and scope.
• Administers respiratory therapy treatments and monitors effects.
• Assesses barriers to participation and functional goals.
• Coordinates with nursing, PT, and infection prevention staff.
• Follows infection control and equipment sterilization procedures.
• Documents data in patient records post-treatment and plan.
• Operates and maintains respiratory therapy equipment safely.
• Develops and follows individualized care plans for residents.
• Treats residents and families with respect and dignity.
