The role requires CA licensure, AMA-approved education, and active CRT or RRT credentials with ACLS and BLS certification. The therapist will work under DON supervision to support patient wellbeing and rehabilitation

Qualifications

• CA Respiratory Therapist license required.
• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
• Active CRT or RRT credential.
• Current ACLS and BLS Certification.

Responsabilités

• Provide respiratory care services under physician orders, state and federal guidelines, and department policies.
• Administer and monitor pulmonary therapies and interventions, noting any side effects.
• Assess patient pain and coordinate with nursing for rehabilitation participation.
• Maintain infection control and proper sterilization of equipment.
• Document data on patient records after pulmonary program activities.
• Operate and verify respiratory equipment safety and functionality.
• Develop and adjust care plans based on patient learning needs and family involvement.
• Ensure timely communication with nurses, DON, administrator, and physicians.
